New Release: Metro Vancouver Housing Affordability Survey

The Housing Justice Project has released its findings from the Metro Vancouver Housing Affordability Survey. The survey was conducted to assess experiences of Metro Vancouver residents around housing availability, affordability, and suitability.

The survey was conducted online though PlaceSpeak, a public consultation platform, and through printed surveys distributed at the University of British Columbia Learning Exchange in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside and Richmond Family Place. The survey provides a critical look at how households are responding to affordability challenges in the region, and synthesizes ideas from respondents about how to move forward with housing policy.
