The 19th Birthday Party in the News

The Housing Justice Project was thrilled to partner with the Housing Matters Media Project to bring an art installation piece to the UBC Peter Wall Institute for Advanced Studies. The 19th Birthday Party tells stories of youth and by youth about aging out of the foster care system at the age of 19, and the financial and emotional challenges that this brings. Read more about the art installation in UBC publicationsĀ The Ubyssey and Arts Wire, and inĀ Metro News. You can also watch a video about the exhibit published by the Vancouver Sun, and listen to a CBC Radio’s discussion about the event.
